Job Description

 

Main Duties

  • Fault diagnosis including troubleshooting equipment related process problems to determine cause and to investigate repairs
  • Repair all electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
  • Drive ongoing preventative maintenance programmes
  • Use of control panels
  • General maintenance of site
  • Stock control of parts and materials
  • Form part of an “on call” rota on a 24/7 basis including weekends
  • Completion of all maintenance records

Job Description

Main Duties

The Horticulture Programme Manager will be responsible for the successful management and execution of all Microbiology innovation programs within MBio for the Monaghan Mushrooms Group including the management of project rollout into the full commercial environment. The programme manager must be highly customer centric and must lead by example.

 

MBio consistently delivers world firsts. The programme manager must be focussed on the end goal and see innovation as a toolset to achieve macro objectives. This may require entrepreneurial flair at times to achieve the unimaginable and the candidate must be a very strong communicator.

As nature never stops flexibility will be an important feature of this role.

 

The deliverables of the Horticulture Programme Manager role include:

 

  • Coordinate and evaluate the performance of all microbiology and horticulture projects within MBio and ensure alignment with end goals agreed with the customer – Monaghan Mushrooms;
  • Formulate new projects to support the achievement of new innovation targets agreed with the customer;
  • Drive an innovation mindset through the team;
  • Development of a consistent project management method for application to all programs;
  • Develop proposals for funding from national and international state agencies to ensure funding is in place for 100% of micro programs;
  • The development and management of budgets;
  • Management and development of a diverse team of scientists and horticulturalists;
  • Risk assessment and change management to ensure programme delivery;
  • Effective communications with all programme stakeholders;

Main Duties

  • You must adhere to the rules of the road at all times
  • Count all units of product codes collected from each Grower
  • Produce a Grower docket for each category of product. Must include product code, quantity, grower number, date, driver, number of crates collected, number of crates delivered, type of crate
  • Ensure you are following collection route in a timely & responsible fashion
  • Ensure all product is loaded carefully to minimise any damage
  • Download all information from handheld unit, check in product to Intake and investigate and update any discrepancies
  • File the correct route cards along with a copy of the Vehicles Tachograph
  • Fill your vehicle with fuel before offloading the last delivery to the Packhouse each day
  • Park your vehicle in a neat, tidy & safe manner
  • Wash your vehicle each evening before finishing your shift
  • Ensure there are sufficient levels of oil & water in your vehicle each morning
  • Complete a pre-collection vehicle check sheet and file it on a daily basis before moving off site
  • Responsible for the vehicle provided and drive it with due care and attention
  • Maintain and observe Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations

Reporting to MBio’s Applications Lead the Graduate Food Technology role will be responsible for supporting the meat free team in safely and efficiently developing, modifying and manufacturing meat free products, samples, processes and production trials.

 

Role Deliverables

The Graduate Food Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the meat free team in developing world beating meat free products;
  • Providing written and verbal reports on research progress;
  • Participate in R&D and project meetings;
  • Take responsibility for the performance of assigned tasks in the development and production of meat free products;
  • Engaging with suppliers to research and source ingredients and ensure a steady stock position for prototype and scale up production;
  • Propose new product ideas, recipes, modify and improve existing recipes and develop prototypes;
  • Use of nutritional formulation software;
  • Support the running of shelf life, tasting panels, prototype and scale up production trials;
  • Ensure full compliance with safety and food hygiene standards and policies;
  • Perform market research on products, companies, technologies and ingredients in the meat free space;
  • Assist in the performance of scientific analysis on ingredients and products.
  • Collect and analyse data;
  • Input into the development of clear recipe and process based cost models;
  • Gathering information on nutritional, safety and shelf life.

Role Overview

Working as part of the management accounting team you will assist with the preparation of the weekly management accounts, as well as supporting the wider finance function with any ad hoc reporting as required. There will be an opportunity to get experience in all facets of the Management accounting function.

 

Main Duties

  • Compiling and verifying various system reports
  • Combining these reports into a set of schedules that feed into the weekly Management Accounts and KPI reports.
  • Performing detail sense checking and error checking
  • Analysing and investigating variances against budgets
  • Reconciling the weekly management accounts with the monthly financial accounts.

Role Overview

The key objective of this position is to take ownership of Group Master Data Setup and assist with the support and delivery of IT Business Systems across the Monaghan Mushrooms Group.

 

Main Duties

  • Setup, and maintain Group Product, Supplier & Customer Master Data in all IT Business Systems.
  • Map existing Master Data setup workflows and assist in identifying process and system gaps so process improvements can be proposed, agreed and implemented.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Master Data System Solution improvements to streamline the process and fulfil process gaps.
  • Provide 2nd Level software support for all IT Business Systems within his/her remit.
  • Assist in managing service level agreements between IT, business users and 3rd party providers.
  • Assist with on-site support of IT business system implementations and upgrades.
  • Develop software documentation and user training materials as required.
  • Work closely with other IT resources to ensure all systems add value across the business.
