Job Description

Role Overview:

To ensure the quality of products through the production areas are to the highest attainable standard throughout all processes; To ensure all routine quality checks (as detailed in the procedure manual) for assessing the quality of the products are preformed and the results recorded; To fully inform the Quality Assurance Manager of all non-conformances and ensure all appropriate actions are taken and recorded

 

Main Duties:

Job Description

Role Deliverables:

 

  1. To carry out preventative maintenance programmes on all equipment ensuring they are kept to high standard and always ready for use, including wrapping machines, labellers, refrigeration plant, robotics etc.

 

  1. To work closely with the Pack house management to ensure all maintenance work is prioritised correctly and carried out in a timely manner

 

  1. Assist in the sourcing of parts, following up on parts deliveries and overseeing that incoming parts are fitted as soon as possible when delivered

 

  1. Establish and maintain an efficient stock of essential parts, using good stock control techniques

 

  1. Maintain accurate, up-to-date maintenance documentation, following good documentation practices and keeping management updated on maintenance progress on all sites

 

  1. To ensure any breakdowns or problems are resolved quickly and efficiently as possible, using the resources available

 

  1. Being part of a callout service at weekends if required and forming part of a rotating shift pattern

 

  1. To assist with any 3rd party contractors in carrying out their duties on our sites as and when required

 

  1. To oversee that repairs to equipment carried out by 3rd parties off-site, are fully traceable and repairs are sent out and returned as quickly and efficiently as possible

 

  1. Maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations

Experience and Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification in Electrical Installation (preferable industrial)
  • Several years’ industry experience in a similar role
  • Ability to weld (preferably stainless steel and aluminum) and carry out small amounts of steel fabrication
  • Full driving licence

Desirables:

  • Previous experience in the mushroom industry and knowledge of the specialised machinery that are in use within a modern Packhouse
  • Previous experience in the food industry

  1. Responsible for intake of packing – equipment
  2. Select correct stock for assembling orders and transfer stock to despatch bay
  3. Check that correct number of crates/packaging on each pallets have been scanned and correct destination recorded
  4. Process relevant documentation for each consignment
  5. Use of the company online systems
  6. Load containers and ensure all pallets have been scanned and checked prior to loading, enclosing documentation
  7. Report any discrepancies with orders
  8. Work effectively as part of the Team
  9. Identify new methods and processes to reduce “down time”
  10. Ensure all loads are loaded in accordance with the “load plan”
  11. Ensure all orders are correctly filled, assembled and despatched

Job Description

Role Overview

Reporting to the Lead Group Auditor, the job holder will be responsible for assisting in the management of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the internal audit function for the group, ensuring all sites comply with both customer and food legislative requirements.

The Technical Assistant/Auditor with be responsible for liaising with external and internal  growers, composting departments and pack houses on a variety of tasks regarding compliance to third party and customer standards. The role requires knowledge and understanding of food safety legislation, food hygiene and good agricultural practices, as well as a practical approach to communicating the importance of record keeping and policy implementation on sites.

 

Role Deliverables:

  • Achieving compliance to third party and customer schemes on all suppling farms in Republic of Ireland
  • Assisting in the management of the QMS for the grower network and pack houses
  • Leading the technical external audits
  • Conducting audits on a scheduled basis on all primary producers and packing facilities
  • Communicating audit findings to stakeholders
  • Responsibility for closing out non-conformances identified in audits
  • Managing third party accreditations for all sites (Bord Bia, Global Gap/TN11, Leaf, M&S Select Grower, Waitrose farm assessments, Red Tractor assured produce, Soil Association, IFS, QS Gap/Grasp, BRC, TPPS)
  • Organising audit dates with third party bodies and managing renewals
  • Responsible for maintaining supplier approval documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Liaising with various departments in achieving the above tasks
  • Keeping abreast of changing legislation/upcoming standard changes
  • Conducting gap analysis of new standards and implementing changes in the QMS
  • Assisting in any other capacity within the technical department where required

  • Lead Auditor and HACCP qualifications (desirable)
  • Ability to interpret and understand standards
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and the ability to develop good rapport with primary suppliers
  • A basic understanding of Fresh Produce Standards (Global Gap, Bord Bia, Leaf, Red tractor assured produce, Soil Association, EU food legislation for fresh produce)
  • Understanding of Crop Chemicals Rules and Regulations (desirable)
  • A working experience with BRC, TPPS, Bord Bia Prepared standard or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a fresh produce production environment and understanding of the processes involved
  • Experience of dealing with UK retailers requirements (desirable)

Role Overview:

With the company continuing its international growth both organically and by acquisition an opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Management Accounting Team. This role will provide excellent career prospects and the opportunity to work within the international business environment.

Working as part of a vibrant and enthusiastic Management Accounting Team you will develop and manage the preparation of group product costings, weekly group KPI reporting and quarterly group performance forecasting, with any ad hoc reporting as required.

 

Role Deliverables:

 

  • Prepare and continually update robust product costings for the full range of current and any new products supplied to all of our customers
  • Ongoing margin analysis, root cause of variances, identification and implementation of corrective actions to prevent repeat incidences
  • Planning for contract negotiations with new and existing customers. Develop pricing strategies/plans with account managers
  • Assist in preparation of annual sales budget
  • Responsibility for supporting the European Commercial Team in the financial analysis of commercial performance, and in the preparation of financial information used for negotiations and decision-making, including pricing
  • Work closely with the Commercial Team and the wider Finance Team to ensure that appropriate financial controls and procedures are in place to achieve maximisation of customer and overall net profit
  • Analysis and reporting on revenue and volume in Ireland/UK/Holland and Germany
  • Weekly sales forecast reporting UK/Irl/Holland and Germany
  • Input and involvement into the strategy process and delivery of analysis to senior management
  • Evaluate and manage customer incentive plans (add/maintain/expire rebates and trade promotions)
